Drivers a La Maura racecourse The Maura honour the memory of Biagio Lo Verde, who died last Sunday.

 

   Considered one of the best Italian drivers, Biagio Lo Verde began racing in the early 80s and arrived at the top of the trot in the mid 90s. He won the Italian Derby in 1996 with Tinak Mo and in 1999 won in Montegiorgio the Italian drivers championship. During his career he won about 30 Grand Prix races.
