On Thursday, July 11th, Snai San Siro Racecourse will host an event that will rewrite its history, a story that began more than 100 years ago and is about to take a new and exciting step.
In fact, the “Lights on San Siro Trotto Grand Opening” event will be the occasion to officially present the new trotting track, the restoration of the new Trotting Grandstand, formerly secondary grandstand, which reopens to the public, and the GAMI, the Racecourse Multimedia Archive Gallery.
The evening will begin from 7:30 pm and aims also to celebrate a nearly 10-year journey undertaken by Snaitech with the goal of transforming a facility dedicated to a single sporting discipline, galloping, into a multi-purpose arena that will host all equestrian sports such as trotting and show jumping competitions and at the same time offer a rich entertainment program designed to involve a wide and diversified audience through concerts, events, exhibitions, cultural initiatives and educational projects for schools.
At 8 pm inside the Leonardo’s Horse area, the notes of an extraordinary artist will entertain the public with an exclusive and engaging live musical performance. During the evening, the public will have the opportunity to visit the GAMI, the Racecourse’s new Multimedia Archive Gallery that traces the history of San Siro and Italian horse racing.
Finally, at 9:30 pm, the key moment that will turn on the “Lights on San Siro” with the inauguration of the new trotting track. For the debut of the new track, five races will be scheduled (starting at 9:30 pm) that will entertain the public in an evening full of emotions and great horse racing.
